Has anybody got a Seymour Duncan Tweak Fuzz or a Pickup booster ?
If so what are they like and are they worth the cash ? or are there better fuzz / signal booster pedals out there ?

there is a good Tweak fuzz video at Seymour Duncan. I must say, it looks a very tasty unit, it gets good reviews everywhere. I think I saw one in a shop in town, I'll try and check it out if I get a chance, and get back to you. Problem is, I'm pretty busy for the next week or so. But I can try!

cheers mate any info would be great ! :D

well, don't hold your breath! I'm jammed up with work until next friday but after that I'm all good to waste away the days. I might get to try it before then, but then - I might not get a chance to check it after then! Does that make any sense? I shall try, but best but would be to try it yourself - or maybe someone on here has used one?
Here is a link to the info page on SD's website, with a link to the video on that page (its quite a lengthy, informative video)

and the Harmony Central link:

I think it sounds really nice. If you filter out the ubiquitous Harmony Central dickhead ("ooh look at me, I'm sooo hard I gave the pedal a 1/10) it scores pretty well there too :)

I had a Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster pedal for a while. It was great at what it did, but I sold it on when I got a Fulltone Fat Boost and ZVex Super Duper instead :)
I also tried a Tweak Fuzz last June, and it was a good pedal. It was the best sounding pedal in it's price range, but I preferred the sound of the Emma ReezaFRATzitz (and it was only a little more expensive), so I bought 1 of those instead :)
I know this isn't the most useful post in the world, but thought I'd post it anyway :)

no cheers mate any info on the pedals is good,, all in search of "The Tone" lol

The Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster was a great front end booster (for more gain) and was also good in my amps FX loop (for a volume boost for solos).
I got good prices on the Fulltone Fat Boost and the ZVex Super Duper, so I didn't see much point having it around with these 2 pedals. Had I not bought the Fulltone or ZVex, the Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster would still be on my pedalboard :)
The Tweak Fuzz was another good pedal. With it's 6 position 'tweak' control it was possible to get alot of sounds from it. 1 thing I do remember about it was that it sounded a little thin to my ears, but aside from that it sounded good :)
I preferred the thicker sound of the EMMA ReezaFRATzitz Fuzz/OD pedal, otherwise Id've bought the Tweak Fuzz :)

My guitar tutor's got one and he hardly stops going on about it. Apparently it works very well with his Zakk Wylde overdrive into his Marshall Jubilee and his JCM2000.
