This is a short clip from a song I'm recording for my good friend Michael Hawkins' new project "Nova".
We used a Fender Strat with BKP Mother's Milk pickups for all the guitar tones. Vocals were tracked with a Shure SM7b. The amps used are the Dumble and Trainwreck models through various cabs.

I like that - good stuff. The MM's sound very good. Also, the singer reminded me a little of a younger Geddy Lee.

Thanks Ian! I'm going to pass on the Geddy Lee comment - he's a big Rush fan if I remember correctly

This sounds great! The vocals are a bit Geddy Lee.

I like that! Nice sound and great singer.

Cheers dudes!
I grabbed a couple of decent pics of the guitar on my mates' SLR today:

Great sound, song and all. Vocals dedfinitely Geddy Lee like Tom said. For me it builds up great energy but it drops on the bridge or chorus that comes in the last third. I would have wished for some less common harmonies for the follow up of such an interesting first verse.
Still, that guitar sounds really really nice!

You really got a great sound going there! Also the strat looks beautiful, very classic looking
