Title: Registering a domain name
Post by: fbloke on March 24, 2011, 09:03:37 PM
What's the best site for doing this in your experience?  I went to Godaddy but it was a cr@ppy, overcrowded site. Oh the irony.

I use domaincheck for my site, haven't had any problems with them. I get my hosting from them as well.

If you mean just registering a domain then pretty much all hosting companies charge the same prices and give you the same kind of service. If you mean hosting a website then really, how long is a piece of string.

I use Red Fox Hosting for Windows Server hosting and they are utterly brilliant, good service and reasonably priced. Also used 34SP in the past for the Linux hosting, cheap and cheerful.
