Title: P bass - For the metulz
Post by: Madsakre on March 29, 2011, 08:54:35 PM
Yes. my bassist wants to swap his dimarzio's in his fender P bass with a set of knuckles since me and the other guitarist are dedicated bkp users.

The style is.. NOISY :)

Which would do the job best? Its fitted with a maple board.

For metal you really want to keep the output down as you're after a tight response with plenty of attack. Assuming it's a split-pickup, I'd recommend the '65 model.

There's a lot of attack in that too. Output low, play with a (heavy) pick, pick hard.

Theres not much diffrence in bass sound to be honest :P I could say that we like sodom's sound too :)

Its a power trio and we're aiming for a 50/50 sound in presence of both guitar and bass.
