Title: Gary Moore's Hamer?
Post by: blue on April 05, 2011, 01:36:58 PM
also spotted this.  i think this crowd have been mentioned around here before?  anyway, it's a lovely looking guitar, but even if it was Gary's, isn't this price a little optimistic?

that is way too OTT even if it is legit.

i like how they've changed there name to music incorporated.

yet still have the mgleeds email address and music ground user ID.

I'd have thought they could have waited a little while longer before looking to wantonly profiteer from Gary Moore's passing.

£ 25,000?  Just naked money lust, nothing realistic going on there.  Still, some Japanese collector will no doubt come along and prove me wrong.

I saw that the other day.  I think it probably is genuine, but the price is optimistic to say the least.  If they want to make £25k they could at least write a better description and take some decent big photos.

I absolutely HATE Music Inc's (or Music Ground's) eBay shop.  They're (apparently) selling two Hamer Korina Vectors which they expect some mugs to pay £2,399 for, but they illustrate them both with the same poxy little photo.  They don't seem to give a flying $%&# about their customers.  I actually feel insulted by it.  :x

Pah - Hamer are owned by Fender now - the pre-Fender ones are of more interest
£2400?  Maybe it also comes with a free ride in a police car too.

Surely you'd just have me make you one instead?

I didn't even know that!  :o   I see Jol Dantzig has left too!  Are they still built at the Hamer factory, or have Fender taken everything in-house?

Yes, I probably would - your '58 korina V looks fantastic.  :D
