Title: Wiring options with P90s
Post by: Jazz Rock on April 10, 2011, 11:35:00 PM
I will most probably get some P90s for my Epiphone in a not too distant future. The guitar is currently loaded with tapped humbuckers, controlled with 2 push/pull tone knobs. I don't think I would be interested in tapped P90s and was wondering if I could use the push/pull pots to have in/out phase and series/parallel modes. I believe Tim is shipping P90s with 3 leads by default (at least that is how the MQn for my Studio arrived), so I would think that such modes would be doable, but, are they? Any wiring diagram would also be welcome. Cheers :)

I'm not too sure to be honest, but www.guitarelectronics.com would be a good place to start.

Oh dear, I'll need to get back into wiring diagram decifering... I was starting to get an understanding of these things last time I did some re-wiring work on the Tele, but it was already more than a year ago and strolling through the diagram on guitar electronics hurt my head :) Thanks for the link.
