Title: Gibson Keep Copying Me

Gibson must be looking at the custom guitars I am getting.  I had a Marc Bolan style Les Paul made by Will Scott, look at this that they have brought out:

Then I had Wez make me a fretless Les Paul DC bass, now they bring this out:

dont like the look of the neck join on that bass - i reckon it completely takes away from the junior styling

Just had a look at the Marc Bolan Les Paul in Mansons (2 in fact!).

I was VERY impressed - very convincing aging especially the TOM and tailpiece (perhaps the maple cap could have been distressed a little more). The pickups could easily been mistaken for original PAFs, well worn with black paper tape around the coils (which was unwrapping a little). Like the original it looks very odd with a black Custom neck set in a (well buckle rashed) Standard body. Pity this QC doesn't always filter down to the lower priced guitars  :(
