Went to visit MDV did a deal on this very pretty amp, so here is two quick pics(rough pics, will take better tomorrow) of my Martamp(MJW..love that logo, is my initails) Roadstar


 must make sure read were people are from properly was a long drive

Must add was a great bloke to do a deal with...could have spent hours just going through the amps he had, recording gear and other geeky stuff

tis great sounding.too....power is powerscalling...then is just vol and tone.and hi low input.....does have effects loop and bypass on back...yet to find everthing out

Looks great, simple and classy. I really like the look of Martins amps and will one day ask him to build me a JTM45 a like.

Very nice indeed. Really miss my MJW. Apparently I may have a pay rise on my way soon so will think about what it would take to get me an MJW again. I like my Blackstar HT1 but it's not a patch on stuff like this (although the emulated headphone out is a total bonus).

yes made mistake of selling my MJW V6-20...(other guitarist had Hiwatt 100w beast at time)miss that amp...well did till now

My girlfriend will kill me....
 
.....if I get a new amp.
The 18w amp I have is great, but I'm probably going to be in need of an extra bit of volume some time later this year.
If I get a new amp I'm in big, big trouble with my better half.
 
Theoretically, later in the year, could you make me a new 36w amp using the existing chasis for the head?
Doesn't matter what goes on inside the head, as long as the outer casing didn't look too different.... she would never notice!!!
 
Let me know your thoughts and I'll plan things a bit more.

I ended up keeping the casing for my 18w and getting a 36w head built in to it. The existing head had a new casing built on it and in what looks like its current form was sold to MDV then to sgmypod.

I'm probably not going to go to heaven!

Great story! I still haven't told my mrs that my Orion is about to clone itself - not sure quite how to get round that. I might take the tack that I have infact always had two and she must be clearly 'insane' to think otherwise.

then again she may just insert one of them into my person sideways to teach me a lesson  :P

Now thinking can I gig with this mmmm, also have same prob had to empty out an amp and cab to make space(so cab swap for amp was perfect, made our lass happy)
