Title: New to forum...please be gentle...wiring questions...
Post by: MaidenHawaii on April 20, 2011, 10:46:44 AM
Hello out there proud BKP owners!  Just recently purchased a pair of bridge Rebel Yells, and am currently waiting on a Holydiver to be completed.  I have looked at all of the wiring diagrams, but am unable to figure out if what is there is right for what I am thinking of, so I ask for anyone's assistance on this one.  Here is the scenario:

I am installing one RY, along with a 59 in the neck, into a guitar equipped with only a volume.
The other, I am taking the other RY and putting that in the neck, with the Holydiver in the bridge on another guitar with just a volume.   I would like to add in a push pull pot to split, so my question would be, which diagram should I follow for 2 humbuckers with a coil split?  Is there a different wiring scheme I should consider?  Some, if any, help will be greatly appreciated!   Thanks in advance!

Presumably you will have a pickup selector too?  If not, and the push pull needs to do pickup selection, then you will only be able to split one pickup.  The split is easy, just take the green & white to the center lug on one side of the switch and ground one of the contacts.  If you need more diagrams, check out this site http://www.guitarelectronics.com/ (http://www.guitarelectronics.com/), as they have diagrams for practically everything.
