Steve Stevens!

They both sound excellent on my 5150, little bit of pedal drive straight into the 'crunch' channel, for spiky metal tones \m/
Warpig in the bridge of an old thru-neck Warlock,
Miracle Man in an old Iceman,
both sound great, better bass end prescence with the Warlock, tho',

I've gone back top 5150 MKII's after trying heaps of amps, including Soldano's, Marshalls, Engl's, Boogies, etc. They just seem to cut in a certain way that I don't hear in other amps, and on the road, they are reliable too. I've tried a few BK pickups too, starting with the VHII, Cold Sweat, Nailbomb and finally the Miracle Man. The MM pickup is the best I have heard so far without a doubt, real tight, plenty of balls, and compliments the 5150 perfectly in my opinion. I'm sure others will disagree, as a lot of people on this forum think the 5150 is cr@p!

Hails Andy, can you send me a high gain metal clip of yours using the MM and the 5150 PLEASe?

If you visit www.crimesofpassion.org you can download some sound samples there. There's the Nailbomb and the MM pickup on there. The brighter more chunky tones are the MM. You'll be able to tell. It's not all the 5150, I doubled some parts with a Boogie too, but you'll get the idea.
