I quite like exploring new music on Spotify, but it's developed a glitch - often I'll start playing a track and instead of music I'll get a load of digital bleeps and "chatter" before it settles down to playing the music. Then the same again with the next track. It's highly annoying.
I've tried uninstalling it and installing the latest version, but still get exactly the same problem.
Any of you clever chaps have any ideas what's causing this and how to fix it? Or is it their way of trying to get me to pay for an upgraded version? :?

That one has me stumped.
All i ever got was an advert at the beginning of every song. maybe its the same thing but the ads have got garbled?
I got bored of spotify rather quickly as it doesn't have alot of what i like and what it does have is a very limited selection.
I prefer services such as lastfm. But at the end of the day i prefer just to go out and look at cds and choose them that way.

I hadn't noticed this before Philly. On reading your thread I fired up spotify and tried to play some Black Keys. I got the same problem you have. Very odd.

It normally seems to play an ad (usually British Gas...) every third or fourth song for me, but not when I first launch it. Don't think it's that, because the "bar"(?) at the bottom of the screen is moving, so the track itself is already playing.

Hmmm, maybe it's a more general problem then. Bummer. :(

Try http://beta.mflow.com/ (http://beta.mflow.com/). Similar idea to spotify. Music available to buy, but you can listen to the full tracks. No ads either

I get it sometimes, usually during a song.
