Was curious about how my hot rodded marshall sounded when recording, so me and my step-son did a quick recording test, we don't have much experience doing the whole mic up process, but i think it ended up just fine.
We used my modded marshall, harley benton 2x12 with v30 and a sm57 copy mic.
Guitar used was Jackson RR1 with Holy Diver, Edwards Lpc with Black Dog and Esp Eclipse with Ceramic Nailbomb
all settings were the same (the gain was set a little higher with black dogs), only highpass and lowpass used.
in case you wonder, the song is one of my step-sons project songs.

Another attempt with black dog, tried different mic position with this one. i think the sound is alot better here to my ears.
