anyone who's familiar with the If You Want Blood live album will recognise from the audio that this is the matching live video footage - neaver knew it existed, this should be released on dvd. awesome!!! (my fave Angus tone ever, ever, ever).

Just. Ace. :D

Lovely stuff. Such a great tone - possibly the best live tone I have heard.

Thank you for making my day.

Proper mint that ......... Bon Scott still greatly missed bless him
-
AC/DC were always my favourites, probably still are - awesome band, probably the best there ever was (imo).

I meant to watch this last night (can't see it at work) to check it out.
Is it the whole lot? Two, maybe three, of the songs are on the Plug Me In box set. But, apart from Bad Boy Boogie, can't remember which one's they are though. I have a feeling that Let There Be Rock is one of them. But yeah, they're my favourite tracks on the box set, I nearly wept when I first watched the DVDs and realised that the Glasgow tracks were the video to the live album I'd been listening to since the late 70s
Stunning stuff. Yeah, if they have the whole gig, put it out lads, I'll buy it!!

Ditto vis a vis Bon Scott. Brian Johnson has done a great job in his stead, but Bon had the perfect frontman personality.

Here's some rehearsal footage I found this week on Youtube, this was prior to the '83 tour of Flick Of The Switch - sounds amazing.

Except for Brian's voice

I just adore these guys. The blueprint for rock.

you can see he was having an off day on those rehearsals, but I take it you're not a Brian Johnson fan anyway.

I like Brian actually, but I think the Back in Black tour ruined his voice for good. I love his voice on the album!
He was really struggling in those rehearsals wasn't he? Bet he was gutted they were filmed!
-
you can see he's not happy at times - the amount of takes of some songs in that rehearsal tells you he was having an off day. course the smoking won't have helped

I'm not a Brian Johnson fan. Which isn't to say I'm dismissing Back in Black or everything they've done for the last 30-odd years! But when you see the old clips of Bon Scott the guy had so much presence..... whereas Brian just stomps around looking like a character from the Lord of the Rings (Ralph Bakshi version), screeching. He's not exactly a weak link, but AC/DC live is very much the Angus Young show, and I doubt it was so much like that in the '70s.
I know he's supposed to be a super nice down to earth bloke, nothing against him personally.

Brian's voice was great on on Back In Black. On later albums it sounds like the charging freight train that is AC/DC took it's toll on Brian's voice.
On Stiff Upper Lip Brian's voice is alot better. There are a couple of songs on that album on wich Brian really carries and pushes the song. His voice is even better on Black Ice. Almost like Back In Black but 30 years older ofcourse. During the Black Ice tour he really worked the crowd and had some really good interaction with Angus.
