I went to the North West Guitar Show at Haydock Racecourse today, and Bernie Marsden was there doing a small "play and talk". I nearly had a fit when he walked on stage with his guitar, it's the double of mine :o
Here's Bernie with his ME and custom yellow Marshall Class 5 combo:

A closer look at his guitar:

Any my own '06 ME - check out the way the stain has taken to the tops in the top left and bottom right "quarters":

He'd even had Paul sign the back of his headstock too, which I found amusing!

How crazy is that????????????? Spooky I say. I've just done a quick YouTube search and here's Bernie playing his a couple of years ago:

They are eerily similar! :D (Presumably he didn't have it at the World Guitars PRS event you went to a few weeks back)
(The old boy's put on a bit of weight, hasn't he? :o )

Cool! I much prefer your guitar to the PS guitars in your other thread.

He didn't have at at the PRS event a couple of weeks ago Phil, he was playing the prototype of his SE signature model then (basically a singlecut with three knobs in a row, like an Explorer).
And yep, he's a large chap. A total legend to chat to though, one of the nicest blokes I've ever met :)

Sounds interesting, although I can't imagine if that'll work or not.... I suppose it's similar to the usual Hamer control layout.

Saw Bernie Marsden today, I think he's nicked my Modern Eagle
And your meat pies, bless him.
