Hi guys,
Sorry for asking a question with my first post, but needs must!
I have a 2011 Ibanez RG471 and I love the guitar, but it produces a very trebley type of sound, I guess due to is being made from hard ash, which could do with being balanced up a bit.
I play most genres of rock, but mostly metal, and the guitar is a H-S-H setup. Which BK;s would suit best?
Thanks in advance for any help :)

I would think that the Holydiver set with Irish Tour single coil would work very well in an ash body, Crawlers would make an excellent second choice!

Currently in the exact same situation you are in. I was recommended the Holy Diver, too, by almost all the posters who answered.
Contacted the BKP tech support today to get some more information about the neck Holy Diver and the tech said that it's "purer" than the bridge model (=more "airyness", open tone?) yet warm and defined, great for "creamy lead work".

Did they say anything about the Holy Diver's clean tones by any chance? :/

This (http://bareknucklepickups.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=24553.0) is everything that has been said ;-)
I'd love to know a bit more about the HD, too, though. The neck pickup seems fairly low in resistance (7,7kOhm) and should be just fine for nice, warm clean tones.
Some of the HD owners might aswell chime in here. (Would be much appreciated)

Hope that helps. It did for me ;-)

A Diver-set will do great in ash. I have the Crawler in a swampash-superstrat and it beefs up this percussive, bright tonewood. It is very balanced now. For your musicstyle I would definitely go for the Divers, which clean up great when rolled back. For the middle I would go for a Slowhand. More Mids then the IT's and it will pair nice with the splitted bridge.

HD bridge also has very nice cleans.

I have a pair of HDs in an Ash bodied Obeche capped Patrick Eggle Climaxe (Floyd Rose, set neck) and it's a great Rock/Metal guitar, aswel las being quite versatile for other things too.

My best sounding guitar ever is swamp ash with a Nailbomb in the bridge.
