Title: Strange GAS - Taylor GS Mini
Post by: Alex on June 03, 2011, 10:00:07 AM
Hi all!

So I see the review of the Taylor GS Mini in Guitarist and mention it to my wife. Now SHE is struck with GAS and wants to learn guitar - and wants one of those, because it is cute and properly sized for a girl. This is weird... normally the money for guitars and stuff goes towards things that I want and then play......  :?

Anyway, 2 qestions: Taylor GS Mini - really as good as the reviews say?
Second, what do typical guitar lessons cost? I live in Birmingham (sucks, I know!). What is a typical prize for beginners in maybe a small group of 2-3? Or are lessons one on one advised?
When I learned, I used to have small group lessons (though in the second year it was usually only me and another guy plus the teacher). I enjoyed it a lot!

I played a GS Mini.  Every home should have one!  Really easy to play and sound lovely.  Great for blues picking, nice and punchy but strum well too.

Lessons £20 - £25 an hour up here in Manchester
