My dads gave me his old guitar, I have no idea what it is, its damn good for punk though

any shots of the headstock?
I probably won't know but...I like it a lot!

Obviously some kind of Les Paul Special copy (presumably there's another pickup cavity under the scratchplate?), but yes, let's see the headstock.
Is it a bolt-on or a set neck?

are you saying its a les paul special copy? I didnt even know that, now I've image searched it it all makes sense thanks guys :)

Well it looks like it. Assuming those four control holes in the body are original, I'd guess it originally had two P-90s and the switch was where the volume control is now.
It's not a very close copy though, the horns look a bit pointy (at least from that angle).

You can't just leave it at that! You need to get some close up photos of many different angles of the guitar! Are there any serial numbers anywhere? Have the pickups got any clues stamped on them? etc etc etc!

Ignore the pickup comment - once I expanded the view I could see it has an SD!
