i dont see it being copied as much as the tele version - most would be put off by the fret access issues whether they actually use those frets or not

i also think the wear looks badly done

I think it's pretty cool visually but from a practical stand-point there's no way the dusty end of the fret board is going to get any use unless you wear it higher than Hank B Marvin. Which isn't going to happen.

It would look better with the body reversed.

Talking of cabs, when are we going to get pics of your new family member?

It looks cool, but I am a bit puzzled by the reversed body.

I'm not posting any pictures of my member up here.
If I get the chance before my wedding I'll put some up. If not, end of June

Nothing that couldn't be fixed by a good session with your B&D router

(Sorry just been reading the router discussions in Gwem's thread!)

I have to say, I think the guitar looks pants to me - might be the reverse body, I guess. But the bass looks very cute.

True, true  ...... it would look bloody weird though, wouldn't it?!

One thing I find odd about the La Cabronita models - they all use the modern American Standard bridge and tuners.  Nothing against modern hardware, I suppose you could argue it's more "practical", but vintage style hardware would seem more appropriate.

The more I look at it, the more I wish for a regular Jazzmaster shape. Now that would be cool.

I love it as it is, but due to no high fret access I wouldn't be able to actually use it live :(

I like it but I don't like the sandpaper on gloss black effect.

Either non aged black or blonde/butterscotch.

Then nice....

Hmm, Tele headstock, TV Jones in the bridge and a Jazzmaster body...

Nah, it'll never catch on. ;)

They tried that when they designed them but decided on the standard bridge as it gave them a tone which they felt fitted more with the vibe they were aiming for. I think the vintage bridge might be a bit too much along with the tv jones.

I can't believe I made my best ever joke and I didn't even get a groan. SHOCKING.

It has groan on me a bit though and I now like the guitar quite a bit.
