Title: subjective tone
Post by: jimi hendrix on January 14, 2006, 10:23:20 PM
Hi, does anyone have experience in doing different methods of wiring pickups for an Epi les paul;
first, is it worth it tone-wise?
second, there's plenty of diagrams about, but is there an all time "killer" diagram, or is going to be trial and error to find one I like?
just got a rio grande bbq to try (two conductor) in the bridge, neck still standard Epi

Two conductor isn't going to give you much variety in terms of wiring. You need four conductor for series/parallel, coil tapping, phase reversal etc.
