Hi everyone.
I have a Moser 10, black limba neckthrough, ebony board with a DiMarzio Super 2 in the bridge. It's VERY bright, too bright. I play through a Framus Cobra, which is also bright. I need to change the bridge pickup and am considering a Holy Diver as I know someone selling one for a reasonable price.
My guitar:

Questions:
I have a DiMarzio PAF in the neck. I'm ok with this for a neck pickup. Does anyone think the Holy Diver is not a good combo with this pickup? Too big of an output difference?
My guitar has 10 strings. Would the Holy Diver muddy up the sound at all?
Thanks!

You wont have a problem with the Holy diver being muddy (or any BKP!) it should work fine with your stock pup, however when you get it installed you will most probably want the neck as well! cos they are that good!

+1, the second you'll hear the HD you probably won't be ok with the DiMarzio anymore

If the Super 2 and PAF work OK together, I don't think you'll find the HD will overwhelm the PAF. A lot of people say BKPs seem less hot than other brands because they have such clarity.

Only 10 strings? What kind of pussy are you?
:D

Thanks everyone!
I was going to go for a 14 stringer but could only afford 10 ;)

Yep, you should be fine with that combination. The Holy Diver isn't too hot to pair with a PAF-style neck pickup, in fact the matching HD neck has a sub-8kΩ DC resistance.
