Title: NAD!
Post by: Nadz1lla on June 20, 2011, 01:00:10 AM
Nope, not what you thought.... New Addiction Day!

Twinings Swiss Chocolate drink - the best darn instant Hot Chocolate I have EVER tasted! Damnit, that's another fiver added to my weekly shopping bill.    :x

Ok guys, drinks or foods that are rocking your world at the moment - GO!

Smoked anything. I've been doing a lot of salmon when time is short, but many of my Saturdays have me smoking a 9lb pork shoulder butt for 12-14 hours @ 220F. Yes, kills my Friday nights but it's worth it! I'll be stuck in crummy weather soon enough so I'll take a break from it through Winter. Also, Paulaner Hefeweisen in the minikeg is an obsession ATM. I only wish it was pressurized so I could stick it in a backpack with a tube (like a CamelBak) and mow the fuhking lawn with it.

Oh my that stuff has 82% carbs of which 76 are sugar. I'm gonna stay away.

That said, I'm on the Nespresso hook. They got me in with their relatively cheap first fix (the machine) and now I am one of their espresso junkies. Hate the company and the exclusivity shebang in point of sale, but love the taste of their coffee.

I've just looked at their website.  I feel powerless like a fly going towards a neon light.
I've got coffee GAS....

I suppose the refills are expensive and you can only buy from tham?

Nespresso is pretty good when you find the right pods, but I found a lot of the stronger ones to taste weird and almost like cigarettes :(

You can only buy from them.

Interesting you'd say cigarettes _tom_

When I stopped smoking I found myself increasing consumption of coffee, maybe there is indeed something about that ...

Is that because it'd already be half cut?

I'll get my coat......

Are you a low-carber, Hunter?  I have been for the last few months, it's miserable and bloody hard work.

I don't enjoy food at all anymore, it's just something I have to have to stay alive.  :(

My addictions are guitars and Blu-rays.

Holy hell that's a grim thought! not the taste, more the texture than anything. Damn!  :o

belazu rose harrisa seems to be going into a lot of my food at the moment.

I also recently discovered the old fashioned sweet shop that seems to have appeared in Burton.  and since i now work in the town centre with an hours lunch i often find myself going to get some floral gums.  Horrible soapy tasting things to most people but there is something i find very addictive about them.

cant get into podded coffee, always found it a bit disappointing - i love my illy and i dont mind the mess to get it... but will settle for an iced caramel latte from costa when in town

I've got into rowing recently, which is odd given that I spent my formative years dodging physical exertion unless it was paid.
