Yep, it's that time - New Saucepan Day...
The Circulon set that we got for our wedding 13 years ago has died a death, and I need new saucepans, and a matching frying pan.
You guys are rarerly short of an opinion - what's good on the market?
Mark.

I should add - I'm really after steel pans rather than non-stick, coated pans.
-
cant go wrong with meyer stuff, debenhams often have good prices on them

what's wrong with none stick?!!!

Meyer ones are great. Le Creuset do a steel set of pans that are also really good. John Lewis do them.

The Circulon ones we currently have had an anodised non stick finish which has stated to come off. I'm sure they're better now, but non non stick seems the safest choice.

i tend to agree to be honest

There's nothing wrong with Circulon. I'm not a Le Crusset fan, even though I'm a fairly big bloke, I find them way too heavy.
Have a good search online as when I was looking for new pans (a couple of years back), I found some great deals. There was a full Circulon set that had about 80% off.

I would have a look at Greenpans. i don't remember what series i have but these things sure heat up fast and evenly!

I'm pretty sceptical about expensive pans these days. Being a stingy student these days I've been basically using tesco pans for the last year and not noticed any real difference. They're light, solid, easy to clean and they get hot when you put them on the hob. What more do you want?

Personally, I want pans that are good enough that I'll never have to buy some again

The cast iron ones are indeed heavy, but they are excellent and also double as a handy weapon for bludgeoning burglars / utility sales people to death.
I bought a brand new reliced teapot the other day for my wife. Rock and roll

Pics or it didn't happen
My wife had a Bridgewater teapot that reliced itself all over the floor a few weeks ago.
