Post by: sgmypod on June 26, 2011, 07:09:52 PM
Been using my mates champ sounds a little sweeter than mine was wondering if I could change mine to more champ like by changing negative feedback part of it am guessing is part ringed in my pic

you'll have to remove the bypass cap from the 1K resistor if you want to use NFB.

alternatively, you could add a 470ohm resistor in line with the existing 1k/0.1 combo to ground and insert the NFB there (thats the way I'd do it).

ahh thought already had NFB as there connected to the grounding tag

looks like you have a DI out there, right? - a schematic would be easier to read, I hate layouts.

Can't see any evidence of negative feedback around the power stage.

As HTH says, it looks like a DI out.

Here is schematic...didn't think I had this

Yep, no negative feedback.

Is it possible to do frank (been a while since touched an amp)

its possible - follow the instructions in my post above.

actually, I've drawn up an alteration to your schematic.

oh, and use a 47ohm resistor, not 470ohm as I said earlier.

so main difference is adding 47ohm resistor(to ground inbetween bit I highlighted originaly) and the 33k feedback resistor to the 16ohm output going to headphone di

what wattage do I need on these
