Title: Voskhod 12ax7vka
Post by: Transcend on July 04, 2011, 08:53:52 PM
Does anyone have any experience with these?

all i can find is this bit of blurb

Voskhod Sunrise Tubes. The 12AX7VKA bottle is larger than other 12AX7's and does not fit in most Chinese shield bases. It does fit in most NOS and Korean made shield bases. The larger bottle gives this tube a full rich tone. Made in Russia

and this

I do however have glowing reviews from a friend but he can be a bit cloth eared at times

errr, doesn't that say 6550 on it?  A 6550 is a big 6L6.

yes that is a 6550.

I should have been clearer. That is a picture i found when looking up info on the company in general.

It could be unrelated as there is no info to go with it but it is the first second and third hit on google!

And yes i believe its a hole.

$17 to give it a test doesn't seem too high of an admission price.

Here's a pic I found.
