Post by: Ochaye on July 08, 2011, 06:18:40 PM
i am talking about what USE i would have for something of this length...TRS balanced Mic cable (actual cable length 3 and 1/2 inches)

i ordered 2 of them on the inet thinking it was 2 meter,it must mean 0.2 meter. it was £25 and i think i am gonna be stuck with them....who would use these so short?

someone with an XLR patch panel?
someone linking XLR stuff in the back of a rack or something?
Just go get some cable, cut the ends off, and remake the cables longer. bit of extra expensive but... whatever

this company is gonna screw me,i can feel it.......if i sent the cables back and they redid the cable they would be throwing in the bin/chucking out a total of 7 inches of cable....but it is their policy if you order the wrong shite you're stuck with the wrong shite. i chose the size from the table below on their web site

OM2
OM3
OM5
1MO
2MO
3MO

i saw the OM2 and thought that's it and the price confirmed it £10. 75 per cable

what do you think guys am i out of line here?  :?

was it made custom then?

Or was it a stock item?

I think that distance selling regulations say that you have a right to return it (although there may be a "restocking fee")

Look it up - Google can be useful!

I can remember having to double check when I ordered my cables from here http://www.award-session.com/cleartone_cables.html. However he has it clearly explained on that page and on reading through I got it, eventually.

Who did you order it from out of interest?

Just return them, they have to take it back since it's a web sale.
