If our drummer doesn't recover, there's a chance there won't even be proper multiscale baritones... Eek!

You mean you get relegated to drumming duties if he can't make it?  :o

 (I'm guessing your band does not operate in this fashion. But I used to know a superb drummer, dead now, who became a drummer in the 60s when he got thrown the sticks at Fairfield Halls because the drummer hadn't turned up. He was the rhythm guitarist and they reasoned his was the least important part. After the gig, they sacked the original drummer and the rhythm guitarist never touched a guitar again).

Anyway, hope your guy recovers and you get to play... Knock em dead :D

Cheers Andy!

I've had a few goes on his drums... I don't think I'll be sitting behind a kit any time soon (and we only have 1 guitar anyway)! :)

Hahaha, that is just brilliant!
"Bloody hell... Okay, here, you do it!"
"What? Me? But I've never played drums in my life!"
"Well.. Just sit down and hit stuff, okay?"
"Ehrm... Okay then, if you say so."
