Title: Miracle Man bridge...clean?
Post by: dean corll on July 20, 2011, 09:41:24 PM
hello,

what is the Miracle Man in the bridge like for clean tones?

when I say I clean, I mean your amp switched to the squeaky clean channel, or in my case plugged into a Roland JC-120 combo.

the guitar I have in mind is a Carvin DC-125 I just bought used (maple neck-thru alder wings, ebony fretboard, OFR, single HB at bridge, 1 vol, no tone)

are the MM bridge clean tones real "compressed" or "plucky" sounding?

thanks  :)

imo...

pretty good for a ceramic high gain pickup... but i wouldn't call it "good" with no qualifications or caveats.

wiring it in parallel (say on a push-pull) helps too- might be worth considering.
