I have a set of painkillers in a mahogany body w/ a maple neck and rosewood fretboard.
I want to try an Aftermath in the bridge, but I really like the painkiller neck. Does anyone think that the painkiller neck would have too much output, compared to the slightly less hot Aftermath bridge?

Nope, should be fine together. :)

Awesome! That's all I needed to pull the trigger. 8)

hey man is that on a 6string guitar? im asking as im interested in a painkiller neck. Cheers

Yep, it's a six string guitar.
I'm having a toss up between an AM bridge, C-bomb bridge, or a ColdSweat Bridge...I can't make my mind up.

In case you are still wondering about the Painkiller neck - it will happily pair up with any of the bridge pickups you're considering. Bear in mind its ceramic magnet is not the same size as the ones used in the bridge units, so it doesn't have the juice behind it to overpower anything above the Cold Sweat.

Awesome that's good to know!
Now I'm thinking of replacing both painkillers and going for a C-bomb bridge and a Coldsweat neck. The other guitar player in my band wants to try out the painkillers...and I want to convert another person to BK.
Thanks, guys!

I think that would work brilliantly. The Aftermath in the bridge will sound much more smooth, and not a bitey as a PK in the bridge, and the PK in the neck will make the leads stand out brilliantly in contrast with the Aftermath.
