Title: if i replace an emg 707 with a c-pig...will i have to modify the body??

I mean, the emg 707 are bigger, smaller or almost the same talking about dimensions?? Thanks!!

The 707s are longer than normal humbuckers, so you'd need special pickup rings or else there'll be gaps around the sides.

Forum member Keven has BKP seven- and eight-string pickups in a couple of Schecters.  There are pictures in the thread below, but if you search I think he made more posts on the subject.  Or it might be worth PM-ing him.

He used pickup rings but I think the pickups fitted in the 707 route with very little, if any, modification.
