I just ordered an aftermath bridge for my PRS Custom 24 and I am very excited! The cover I got though was the black battleworn and I was wondering whether you guys would think it'll look good on an emerald finish with black pickup rings. Also keep in mind that I like extreme metal and trying to go for a gritty look!
I was also wondering if it was at all possible to change the pickup covers if I end up not liking them?

Welcome to the forum! :D
I won't comment on your colour choice, I'm not a metal guy....
If you don't like the cover, under your warranty you can get it removed free of charge (apart from postage costs). Then supply, fitting and wax-potting of a new cover would be £20 or £30, depending on the finish.

thanks for the info! yea as far as the covers go I feel like it'll either look really out of place or HOPEFULLY be one of those magical things you never would've thought work but totally does

When it's plain emerald, yes. Quilted maple with battleworn, hmm, I think it would a bit much. But all is a matter of taste.
-
hmmm...it's a 10 flame maple top
-
Maybe you just try it and as Philly says there's always the possibilty to have the covers replaced.

A friend of mine has battleworn covers on a purple PRS CU24 Artist Pack, it looks surprisingly good!

Battleworn covers will make men fear you, and women desire you.
Or the other way around, if that's your thing.

The coolest thing on those black battleworn covers are the hex screws IMO. Be sure to get some!

when i got my camo covers for my quilted maple ibanez people thought i was mad. Turns out it looks great and even my guitar shop recognised it after a 12 month set up, you just never know!
