Title: Fire(demo), heavy saturated Painkiller
Post by: ethan_hanus on August 18, 2011, 07:32:25 PM
So, I got fired from my new job today, so I came home, dropped my Squier into Drop B, cranked the gain to max, and layed down this riff of my anger.

I just recently properly rewired my guitar, so the Painkiller sounds nice and huge. The track is kinda messy near the end, I didn't know how to end it.

EDIT: I just rerecorded the song, better quality, and a clean intro using the Painkiller.

From what I've heard, this is the best thing you have uploaded here. Sucks about the job loss though. It is nice to get something out of your axe that says what's going on in your head. Probably the best thing about playing the guitar. No words needed for an explanation.

Wow, that sounds great.  Awesome riffing.

"Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent" indeed  :D

Thanks guys, I'm just glad my Valveking kept working while I recorded it. Hopefully I can either fix the amp myself, or get enough money to have it fixed. Stupid job. I felt so much better after I layed this song down.

I uploaded a new version of the song, it has a clean intro, and is produced much better than the first version.
