im want to put abalone crown inlays in my tokai sg.
so two questions, does anyone have a good method of removing the old ones. and is this site link that ive put at the bottom a reliable site for dilivery and stuff.thers just something about it that seems dodgy, i dont no if im just being paranoid but let me no wat you think
by the way i no that wanting to replace inlays is really odd but hey thats just me

Monkeywalker, this is a job for a pro I'm afraid. Even if the inlays are identical to the ones in there, the board needs to be defretted so they can be inserted and sanded level with the fretboard radius (they will be flat out of the box, not radiused), and then refretted. If they're not identiical you need a Dremel Router set up and jigs to rout out the cavities for the inlays.
