...I can say that ITS THE BEST PURCHASE I'VE EVER MADE FOR MY EQUIP !! OMG !! I'll begin with the cold sweat:
Clean: Clean sound is really bright and sweet, articulate and with great sustain. It has that kind of "bell" sound really beautiful !
Leads: the lead are very very fluid and the sound is consistent and soft, very suit and it reminds me Petrucci's tone.
c-pig:
Well, my basic gear its marshall jvm od red mode ( eq: t: maxium / mid: nothing/ bass: 11 o¡clock ) , with ts 9.
Clean: the clean its absolutely gorgeus ! It has surprised me a lot !! I Know that many jazz players has this pick up but i never thought that it would be so wonderful !! its has a creamy and really tight and bright sound amazinly pretty ( One thing, For me its very DIFFICULT to talk in musical terms so I'm sorry if the words aren't enough clear for you :S )
leads: The leads are really consistent, and rough at all, really ...¿ smart ? ¿ polite lol ? I waited a darker sound but it has an "unusual" hard rock tone :D
Rythm: OMG !! the c-pig change in a really diabolic and twested sound...It's like a breathing hell ! $%ing hot, agressive, a bit dark and very clear!! I had to change a bit my eq but the pickup is very very very versatile. Now themes from samael or machine head sounds a bit darker , diabolical and powerful !!
I almost cry before the soundcheck !! My next pickups...BAREKNUCKLE FOR SURE !!
One point: Many peolpe talk about the output and the distorsion of the warpig; well, i can say that it higher than the dimebucker and the 707 ;)

I run a Boss GE-7 with the mids on +5 with the c-pig in my 7 string. I find it just needs that little boost in the mid range. It took me time to get use to it but now it's never coming out. It's great for heavy.

Glad you like the new pickups!
I must say though, I agree with the *BOOST YOUR MIDS* sentiment above! TO me, hearing bands where the guitar(s) have no mids leaves me feeling let down - it sounds great in your bedroom but rubbish in a whole band mix: the aggression of the guitars around the 250-1000Hz should be one of the key features of the sound if the guitars aren't to sound thin overall.
I don't have a C-Pig, but have had MM, BD and now the afermath. I boost mids a lot now and find the aggressive grind (with lower preamp gain, surprisingly) cuts better in the mix and still sounds utterly crushing and brutal :)
Hope you enjoy the tinkering about (I'm sure you will, that guitar sounds like it's a beast now!).

yesterday was the first time I played with them and this morning I ¡ve increased de mid only a bit ( before mid= 0 , now 2,5 ) and the guitar sound even better !!!! Unfortunately I only play at home :(. Before putting the BK, I prefer the sound of my dean razorback explosion over my custom 7 string guitar. Today , the dean seems to me like a " guitar for babies" hehehehe. When I get more money, I'll buy a MM to replace the SD of my dean ! And talking for the dean...what do you think its a better decision for aggresive and fast stuff like children of bodom and arch enemy, MM or AM ?? Thanks ;)

I use a vintage maxon ge-601
just cut a hair of bass and add some mids
this delivers a strong attack and crunchy grind, quite different from an overdrive as it doesn't smooth things out

This - Low preamp, boosted mids is what most djent players go for as well. Personally think it works really well with the Aftermath. Cuts through like butter and sounds very aggressive. Love it.

Maybe an aftermath for the Dean. I don't know for sure though not having one. Try emailing the BKP guys. They should have an idea on which is close to the tyrant pup Michael Amott uses.

COB uses EMGs, so MM in this case. Arch Enemy uses... Seymour TB-4s from what I can remember, which is a medium-hot bright humbucker.
