Title: NMD - Updated with clips
Post by: Mr. Air on September 07, 2011, 05:32:11 PM
It's a new module day for me  :D

Just picked up this Salvation Benzin module. It's modded after Diezel amps mostly the VH4 and it delivers the goods (well maybe I can't tell because I have never played a Diezel amp, but it sounds like one to me  :))

I'll see if a can record some clips soon, but unfortunately I haven't got any propper recording gear which sucks!

UPDATE - I just recorded some clips of the Benzin module. Pretty cr@ppy sound as I only have my laptops webcam to record with (and the playing isn't killer either).

Damn looks nice! Those Randall modulars really seem to be a good buy.

edit: Don't know why I typed Randall....

Sweet!

Pity it doesn't offer the second channel for your Eggie...

Yeah it's a real shame that the Benzin module doesn't come in a twin module as it can produce a wide variety of gain tones.

I must confess that I have GAS for a lot of the Salvation stuff. Mostly the not so extreme metal modules though.

How much do those modules tend to run?

I think Anthony can modify he dual Eggie modules too now- although they are much more expensive to buy  than the Randall ones

The Salvation stuff costs around 380-460$ including a module (Randall single channel). It is no longer necessary to send a module for modding.

Athony wrote me that it's possible to mod the dual channel Eggie modules, but that he prefers the Randall ones as they leave room for more modifications. It would be quite expensive to have a eggie module modded too as you state, Jonathan, but it would be killer to have a dual channel Benzin  :D
