Thanks very much guys. It is the MTS series that I'm looking for, I've been very impressed with  any recording I heard so far

Check out the MTS forum at Graitone. Seems like there's always someone who's looking to sell.

I'm pretty keen on the Randall and Egnater modular system.
I seem to have acquired a fair bit and it'll probably get worse not better

My workshop rig

My first "upstairs rig"

Me trying to be like (producer) Michael Wagener
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v662/felineguitars/amps/MTS3.jpg)

I used to also have a Randall Lynch box head and cab but was too big/too loud and not v practical for home use
Was a shame to get rid of it as it had been played by George Lynch at a clinic  here in the UK
But space is at a premium and it was just too big to be suited for my needs

For reference :
Michael Wagener with rack and Anthony from Salvation Mods (who modifies MTS modules in Czech Republic)

That's a really nice collection you got there, Jonathan. A shame it doesn't show clearly in the pictures which modules you actually got.

Yes very true - along with Schenker Brothers, Matthias Jabs, John Norum, Wolf Hoffman(Accept) and Mark Kendall (Great White)

Cool to see someone else acknowledge Mark Kendall :)
He usually gets overlooked when 80s guitarists are mentioned. Not the most flashy technique, but very tasteful and killer tone!

i like Jonathan's "workshop rig" as he calls it :) he's always happy to show it off, and i can confirm it sounds brilliant.

wouldn't mind getting some MTS stuff myself
