OK,
well enough is enough. I REALLY want it but it is going WAY to high in price! (sob)

So, any info. or advice on these two would help. I know the Mosler one has FUNKY paint, but Neal did work at BC Rich for LONG time. Is it authentic or are there alot of fakes around?

Don't like the Kramer paint either really.
Really want a SIMPLE single pup USA guitar (BC RICH Gunslinger is ideal). I have scoured the net and local shops and cannot locate one anywhere :( and this evilbay one is just going WAY to high, HAS to be a limit with everything (unfortunately).
Ideas? (yeah I know Feline has one but look at his price).

Moser +1
cool paint and BIRDSEYE NECK!!! really sweet!!!
a local 2nd hand shop by me had a crackle finish gunslinger with a maple neck.. it was sweet as, and with a proper 'original floyd rose' aswell (alas some bar-steward bought it while i had no money :( )

Hey Chris
remember how much the Gunslinger was going for?
Also, you seem to know some, any info. about the Mosler? Anything? I only stumbled across it today and read about Neal. ANY info. would be greatly appreciated bud.

I like the graphic on the Mosler. Didn't Ben post a topic about the guy who paints that a (long) while ago?
-
if i remember correctly.. it was £375. i thought that was a bit much really!
i dont really know anything about Moser, just seen a couple of his paint jobs around the net :)
My favourate american axes are Kramers... my local shop had a New York Skyline graphic Barretta, and a Miami one aswell (another local guy had a Saturn planet graphic). Those Barrettas are very nice, and pretty rare. bit expensive though :(
-
Not too worried bout paint job more the axe.
The painter, I would say, is GMW guitarworks (as they are known for nagel graphics).
The Moser (worked for B.C.Rich for years) is interesting though. Looks like gunslinger but no slanted pup. Also, where the heck is the truss rod adjustment? Is it under the neck ala Fender?
What about birds eye maple? Good neck wood?
Just no little to nothing about Moser and was interested.
BTW, Kramer, you talking about the Barretta's, single pup, 80's axe? Cannot find alot about Kramer either (heard replicas are now around so need to be careful). Any insight into what to look for?
Cheers,
Nick

BTW, went Pawn shop trawling yesterday (after the gunslinger started to go ballistic grrrr). Found a Kramer Sustainer for $400, thoughts?

Barettas..the single humbucker barrettas with graphics are the ones i like..
the stagemaster deluxes are great aswell (h/s/s, ebony fret board with shark tooth inlay). Theres a guy on ebay who sells alot of really cool Jackson\Kramer\Charvels.. i will find him..
Yep, the one in your link is the type, single pickup with the banana head (or even a pointy head..just as good but less Van Halen fanboy hype + prices).
Birdseye maple is a quality neck wood, looks nice and costs a fair bit of money!

MMMM,

Razor blade one is FISHY, posts on vintage Kramer bout and has tried to sell before and WILL NOT post good pics (plate/neck etc.) Could be copy.
One I posted, spoke to guy and he said he wants reserve of double price now or will not sell, so $820! Told him good luck and bye bye! And nut was shimmed, why not replace it? hmmm.
Found great site for these kinda guitars but little high price, maybe will "deal".
Check it out,

Neal Moser is a cool guy and makes some great guitars..
Met him recently and he was a complete font of knowledge
I would see his guitar as an investment - especially with the Patrick Nagel style artwork....
Check out his sites

I also have a BC Rich gunslinger and it is an awesome axe
I put Dunlop 6000 on it and it plays like a demon

Thats what I figured Jonathon. Unfortunately cannot afford one of your wonderful creations right now :( so gotta look elsewhere.
Did some more research and Neal worked for GMW guitars for 18 years after B.C.Rich, so, the Gunslinger and Nagel print work together nicely.
Hmmmm
