Carlaz is right, all my money went on guitars (and loose women!).

THe bass pickups are great.  I told Tim that my P-Bass was not as good as an older one I had years ago (sold it when I had no money because of a divorce!).  He knew exactly what I meant and could tell me why.  He made this pickup and it is perfect, the sound is spot on for a 62 Precision.  I can only think the Jazz Bass pickups will be the same.

Like someone once said:"I've spent almost all my money on guitars, women and booze.....the rest I wasted."

Impressive collection, Phil.

Thanks - now all I need to do is learn to play them properly and I can record some things for you guys :P

No, seriously, my problem at the moment is RFI hum.  It makes playing the single coils almost impossible (it is loud enough to register on a tuner!).  I had hoped that moving them to another room would help, but it didn't.  So it is in the mains wiring of the house.  I am going to look into power regenerators to see if that can fix it.
