Title: Hex head - which way round for bridge??!
Post by: lost_horizon on September 23, 2011, 01:14:16 PM
Hi guys,
I just bought a ceramic aftermath for the bridge in my HSS guitar which the black hex bolts, since there is no screw side like normal humbucker, which way does it fit in the bridge??

Maybe you can say whether the copper bit is at the low E string on a right hand guitar when it's the right way round???  Guitar tech is picking it up on Tuesday to fit and he'll want to know this stuff...

Cheers

The Aftermath is symmetrically wound, so it can be installed either way around and give the same result.
However, for reference, the hookup wire should exit the baseplate on the bottom right, as you look at the guitar from the front with the neck vertically upwards.
