Actually this sounds pretty good on my speakers...
£600 now (or 60000 Euros in a few weeks)

It does sound versatile and tonally pleasing, but the real test is always live where your tone ends up disappearing into the void - no punch, no balls.

That is true of the solid state stuff, but Line6 tube amps, if set up right, cut through really well.

my spider valve does. Its really a bang for your buck. i've never been unsatisfied with it

It's just like the Line 6 Vetta: Michael Romeo from Symphony X used to use them live, and his tone seemed to cut through very well :)
