Well, I didn't see it... It was showed on tv, but I wasn't going to wait untill 1AM to see it (the time it was supposed to start, it really started almost 3AM and everybody kinda knew it would happen)
But lets add that he almost didn't arrive in Brazil at the time... He even didn't make the sound check... He lost the flight and came in a private jet... Arrived few hours before the concert...

Once Axl started the whole turning up late nonsense I lost interest to be fair (which was a shame as I'd been a fan since Live like a suicide came out).
I wasn't at the Marquee gig - was too skint to pay to get in, but I played one of Slash's guitars before the gig (was in at Andy's Guitars having some new pickups fitted).

I've said it many times - although I spent years taking the piss and expressing doubts that it would ever be released, I think Chinese Democracy is an absolutely awesome album. You can reasonably debate whether or not it's "really" GnR, but the music is terrific.
