I think its time to start saving for a custom of some kind as there isnt really anything stock out there that grabs my interest.
Im thinking either a 26.5" scale non pointy V with a 6 a side headstock
or possibly a 25.5" scale LP
Id probably got to feline regardless of what i choose i just have a lot of thinking to do.
The best part is now im £266.41 up a month so it wont take long to get enough down to make a deposit of some kind

Legra!!!
-
I think if it's either Vs and LPs you want built only one Big Cat around here has got the cream... :P
-
6 a side headstock?? so going for a 12 string?

Never thought I would say this but I prefer the Ibanez! Looks like one of Paul Gilberts?
-
The Ibanez is a rocket roll.
I used to have one of the cheaper ones that was bolt on but it was still nice. I wish i had never sold it as i cant find them anymore
-
Yeah those old RocketRolls or Destroyers are really asking insane prices. Cheaper to get a new Gibson even. Wonder if anyone's paying those rates.
Does it have to be such long scale? That rules out most production models. So Jonathan/Feline surely is your best bet.
-
Yeah the scale length is the biggest factor for me. I dont get on with 24.75" and i can just about manage with 25.5 but 26.5" feels more natural to me.

Is that just from giving up the smoking? :o

Yeah, I was surprised when you sold that. I've seen a couple of the bolt-on Rocket Rolls, in the metallic red colour, on eBay quite recently. Didn't look at the prices.

This was also my reaction. Kind of makes me want to start smoking and then tell Jane that I'll give up if I can use the savings to buy a new guitar!
-
Yeah i was really surprised at how much its turned out.
The Rocket Roll is the only guitar i really regret selling but its also the only one i've had to as i was going through a rough patch with redundancy and whatnot at the time
-
Tony - feel free to get in touch .
V's are my own personal passion and I'm also a fan of the Ibanez Rocket Roll , Iceman and Destroyder guitars and have owned enough examples of each to know what they are all about.

Oh i definitely will be im just trying to decide on exactly what it is that i want as i dont want to mess it up with a misjudgement

Doesn't make me want to take up smoking, but it does make me wish I had something I could give up to save money!
Unfortunately the only bad habit I should give up is buying guitars..... :?

I daresay they're comparably expensive ;)
The benefits and drawbacks of each shall remain undebated!
