Post by: adamj on October 05, 2011, 06:04:25 PM
im currently saving up for an Orange Thunder 30, but at 580ish its taking some time, but then again i looked on Thomann yesterday and noticed they were promoting their Bugera range and theres a neat 50W valve amp for half the price.
im guessing half the qualty too, any experience with them?

yeah with the amount you save you could buy a pretty good fire extinguisher and fire insurance...

*trollface*

But yeah... I dunno. Never tried them. I know the first ones went on fire, but they fixed that plastic clip nonsense. They still don't have the best rep for reliability, but i don't think they'll set your house on fire any more. Supposedly they sound pretty good for the money, it's just the reliability that's the problem. :?

Save on heating bills.

But yeah, they used to catch on fire, but apparently now they only break more than other amps.

I have heard clips of them sounding decent.

Yup they no longer set on fire they just have other issues now.

However when they are working they sound pretty damn good for the price
