my missus came round today to give me an early birthday pressie!

Its a Squier Classic Vibe Tele, which is something iv been thinking of getting for a while as i only previosuly owned HB guitars. Not had much of a play with it yet, but noticed when plugged into my Pod/Laptop/External Speakers setup the bloody annoying hum was everywhere. Other than that, very well set up, brand new, and very responsive.

I hear ya about the hum. I need all my single coils to be noise cancelling, or I go mad...

is it just because im plugged into my laptop and sitting so close?

cant be assed if its like that with an amp all the time! also, how do i get it noise cancelled?
