Title: Drop A metal humbucker in basswood?

I have a very rare Jackson USA Dinky custom with american basswood body, maple neck and ebony fingerboard, bolt-on neck. Equipped with Evo.

I want for it a very agressive, quick and fast raw, punchy sound for drop A tuning and very clear, articulate. The basswood has not enough quick bass response with the Dimarzio Evo now.
I think about the Painkiller but I don't have experience with bare knuckle equipped basswood axe.
So what can be my pickup?

What do you think, burnt chrome Painkiller will look f*cking crazy in this guitar?
I would like to create a horrific monster.

I'm really not digging the burnt chrome look so I'll say black battle scarred. That would look the boss!

I'd go for burnt chrome, definitely! Nice guitar, I remember one of those being stolen from the Musicstore Cologne years ago. An absolute beauty for sure!
