I like the tele and that Fresher has a very 70s vibe to it.

I really like the Tokai!  :D

The name Fresher brings back memories for me.  When I got my very first guitar (LP copy) in about 1980, the shop had a Fresher Straighter Strat copy with a load of built in FX.  I was fascinated by it, never forgot it!

The rosewood tele is georgeous, as is the Tokai.

I love my MIJ axes as well. I have a few early 80's MIJ NT BC Riches. I keep saying I'm going to get an Ibanez Les Paul and a Roadstar bass. Japan FTW. BY the way, LOVE that tele

You know what, I can no longer afford to indulge any feelings of GAS, but it's a good thing really because I'm appreciating what previous GAS attacks have rewarded me with. I've got 12 other guitars and one way or the other I love em all. Me Jappos are pretty killer though.

Blimey, what is that?  Body shape looks like a Schecter Scorpion, but it's obviously not one of those.

I do love MIJ guitars.  I've just looked back over my guitar-buying history and I've owned no less than 30 Japanese guitars over the years  (including the Edwards ones, which are really Chinese/Japanese co-productions).  Nearly all Gibson-types though, very few Fender-style.

is a sd curlee (prob the cheaper MIJ version) cant see in pic but the giant brass plate that goes from about neck pickup to thru strings is painted over

SD Curlee had crossed my mind, strangely enough (probably because you've mentioned it before!  ) but I couldn't read the headstock logo at all.

logo don't give anything away is the brass plates (including neck plate that nearly goes to back cant really see unless looking), dimazio's that were originally in etc....but think has had repaint and new logo's so prob worth 10p......got it really cheap....sounds ace especially when sorted bridge, and put new pickups pots etc in

I just remembered, I've got another MIF. A 5 string bass made by Bass Collection. It's been out on loan for a year, but what a glorious bass it is. Active grand piano-like sounds.
