Title: HB covers quality issue

are there any differences to the stock gibson covers compared with the B knuckle gear...what do you say Tim?

That depends. Do you mean new stock Gibson covers? If so, then there's a world of difference. BKP covers are much more sonically transparent, a nicer more organic shape and better quality control.
If you mean genuine (not reissue) 1950's Gibson covers, then no, there's not much difference.
