I'm going through all my guitars and gradually replacing them with BK pickups. Next on the list is my 7 string Ibanez AX7521.
Mahogany body, (beefy) maple neck, rosewood fretboard
22 frets
24.5" scale
Looking for an all around versatile set of pickups. I was initially thinking about a Rebel Yell/VHII set.
Thoughts?

They should work if you like some edge.

I do like some edge to my sound :D
Any thoughts on a set of Aftermaths?

Don't own them, but they're reckoned to be dry, middy and you hear the pickattack very clearly. Way more metal then the RY's, which can do metal, but are great for heavy and even classic rock.
