Title: G Major 2 - Footpedal Advice
Post by: HoratioCaine on November 01, 2011, 06:40:31 PM
Just received my TC Electronics G Major 2 rack unit today from eBay.  This is a first FX wise for me, however I'm looking forward to using it over time.

Anyway, one thing I was wondering about this was what footpedal to get for it when it comes to switching effect presets over .etc.  Has anybody who has experience of FX stuff like this got any good recommendations that won't break the bank please?  I don't plan to have a massive number of different settings so I don't need one with too many switches.

Also, at some point I'm going to want a headcase built around it (this is really the only rack unit I need), does anyone know any repuatable places that will build or have one for it please?

Thanks.

THe behringer FBC1010 is fantastic

dont let the fact that behringer make it put you off

its very solid and an excellent piece of kit

also it adds another 2 relays in for extra amp/channell switching to go with the g majors relays

Thanks for the suggestion, don't worry I'm not at all put off that it is Behringer.

EDIT:  It looks good, however after some reading about compatibility for the G Major 2, TC Electronic themselves mention it is not fully compatible, and to be honest I want something that is fully compatible and recommended by them as I don't want to be fiddling about getting things to work.

I now have an idea on some good compatible midi footswitches now, now it is just a matter of finding one for a decent price.
