mate has aquired on of these but has weird connector for pedal board looks almost like lan connector. anyone any idea which pedal board will work with these
-
i have no idea about what will work.
But you could just make a cable up with a different end
-
Good idea but find schematic and connector may be hard. That's before fact well beyond mine and his skills
-
apparently isnt just pots and switches has specific chip inside...damn you vox
-
have you tried contacting vox?
-
vox vc12

vox vc4

might be hard to find, that looks like what you want. bet check it out more though. the vc12 has the LAN connector at least looking at the quick start manual pdf.

yes forgot to say tight budget..so second hand vc4 or 12 looks way foward
-
probably. whatever they did, its probably some proprietary vox thing. might have some wild logic in it.
MAKO amps use RJ45 connectors for their footswitch on at least 1 product, mainly because the cables are cheap & easy to buy (normal LAN cables) rather than 8pin DIN connector cables.
It wouldn't surprise me if Vox made it so you had to use their own footswitches with it. Hard to tell without more info.

very scetchy info on these...had a fcb1010 was hoping that would work as a great controller pedal
