HOw are you???
I just got my fender back( i did a good upgrade on it. graphtech nut and saddles. new pickguard.new pickps. nailbomb set instead of emg 81-60)
and The Nailbomb Set is Awesome. specifically the Neck. The bridge one i had it for some time now, so i already know the tone. although in this guitar with the new upgrades it does changed.
I have no camera and no recording equipment. so it will take me some time to show it. Q: (
The neck one has a Meaty tone. Its oily but not that much. It has Sustain. enough sustain. It Sings really NICE. Its Still Bkp Airy like tonewise . Q: p And the output is nice. I just can do the same (at least with my cr@pPY Amp ) lead tone the guys frmo carcass did on the album Heartwork. So im satisfied .
Highs are enough. middles are ok. they could be more proeminent . and the bass is really meaty.
SO im happy with the Nailbomb neck.
Maybe ill change the nailbomb bridge in a future to get an Aftermath. but for now im satisfied.
I also want to try out the cold sweat neck. VH II neck and bridge. and the mules.

Sounds nice, I have been eying the Nailbomb for some time now, though especially the bridge. You donīt hear that much about the neck since most people just take the coldsweat.
Do you have any other BKP to compare the neck to?

I cant compare it to a bkp but to me its very close to a SD 59neck I had an A4 mag in

unfortunately , i never played or owned any bkp NECK.
i have played with painkiller. warpig.Miracle man . nailbomb bridge. and out of those pickups i preffered the Nailbomb and warpig.
i lied the painiller aso but i just couldnt figure out anything special except for the ultra hot and awesome tone it has for leads with the highs and middle highs.
the middles werent the way i wanted and the bass also.

I wasnt overly wowed with it as I was enjoying my C-bomb bridge too much-however over time i have come to really appreciate it-i love its smoothness and like every bkp it just gives great clarity-and again i only realised this when comparing recordings of it against other stock pups from my other gtrs, it never became fuzzy and i could hear each string really well.

Good to read another little review on a neckpickup, since these bring up regularly some questions.
